"I started out three years ago with a 'credit card' camera just
having fun! I love the outdoors so it is was really easy for me to get
started." Inga states. But in all actuality photography in the
Hesstvedt family started well before she was born. Inga is the
second generation of photographers in her family. Her father was a
professional photographer and worked in the movie industry long
before digital cameras, computers, and digital sound equipment.

'I remember tiring of hearing my father go on and on about his
extensive trips to the Grand Canyon, Europe, etc. And now I'm the
one starting to rattle on and on about photography!' Inga recalls.

Her Aunt saw some of her work from the 'credit card' camera and
gave the idea she could do well with making cards. So, in 2006, Inga
purchased a $900 camera from her savings from years and years
past. "It took nearly everything I had!" She exclaims. "But it was so
worth it ; I still have that same camera and it's the one I'll always
have and love. It has a real history for me." If you ever have a
sitting with Inga the same camera is still used.

With working two jobs, family, friends, her own interests, and
photography life's really busy for the teen. But having a job payed
her way to Hawaii the past  two winters. "It was an quite experience
that I would gladly do again." She states, "and the photo ops were
amazing." Well, she did get the chance to make the trip again in
January 08.

"I liked it in Hawaii and saw so much of a business opportunity I
decided I wanted to move there" Inga states.  So, after graduating
Spring of 08, she started making plans to move.

Inga moved September 2008 however orders were processed on the
mainland by her family. "I'm planning on at least a year but who
knows?" She laughs. "I'm very lucky that my father kept the local
end of my business going. It's important to me as Bonners Ferry will
always be my hometown."

Inga moved back to her 'hometown' in May 2009 and now is focusing
on continuing and growing her business. She is currently taking
bookings for Senior Pictures.
